Mountaineering Gear List — For Himalayan Peaks up to 6,500m
This gear list has been carefully compiled by our team and climbing Sherpa expedition leaders. Please do not cut corners on gear quality. The equipment below is recommended for mountaineering expeditions on Himalayan peaks up to 6,500m.

Technical Climbing Gear
☐ Helmet (Black Diamond, Petzl, or equivalent) *
☐ Mountaineering harness with adjustable leg loops *
☐ Carabiners: minimum 4 locking and 4 non-locking *
☐ Rappel device: ATC or figure 8 (not required for Mera Peak) *
☐ Ascender or jumar (not required for Mera Peak) *
☐ Crampons compatible with your mountaineering boots, 10–12 point*
Footwear
☐ Mountaineering boots suitable for 6,000m+ peaks (La Sportiva, Scarpa, or Mammut) #
☐ Hiking boots or trekking shoes with ankle support for the approach to base camp
☐ Thermal mountaineering socks: 2–3 pairs
